How online Hifz classes work
In each class the learner recites to the tutor, who checks accuracy and Tajweed and sets the next portion. Over time the tutor balances three kinds of work:
- New memorization: a new portion, sized to the learner's ability
- Recent revision: going over what was memorized in recent days
- Long-term revision: regularly returning to older portions so they aren't forgotten
Tips for memorizing at home
- Little and often beats long, irregular sessions.
- Listen to a good reciter while reading along.
- Recite new portions aloud several times before the class.
- Keep a regular time each day, such as after Fajr or after school.
- Revise old portions, not just new ones.
Which plan suits Hifz?
Memorization benefits from frequent contact with a tutor. The Standard plan includes surah memorization support, and the Premium plan includes a full Hifz path with 60-minute sessions, five days a week.

Learners should read the Quran fluently with correct pronunciation. If that's not there yet, start with Quran reading or Tajweed.
