Why parents choose us

Structured Quran learning your child can enjoy

Online Quranic Study is an online Quran academy built around how children learn best: a patient teacher, short focused lessons and a routine they can keep.

One tutor, one child

Every class is live and one-to-one, so the tutor corrects pronunciation as your child reads and moves at the right pace for them.

Male and female tutors

Choose the tutor you are most comfortable with. Qualified female tutors are available for girls, younger children and sisters.

About female tutors

English-speaking teachers

Tutors explain clearly in fluent English, which helps children growing up in the USA, UK and other English-speaking countries.

Flexible schedules

Pick days and times around school, homework and weekends. Tell us your local time and we'll arrange classes to match.

Progress you can see

Monthly progress reports and a student learning portal help you follow what your child has covered and what comes next.

Learn from home

Classes run on a phone, tablet or computer. No travel, no waiting around, and you can stay close by during lessons.

Quran classes for children

A clear path for every stage

Every child starts from a different place. Some have never seen the Arabic alphabet; others can read slowly but make mistakes, or are ready to memorize. In the trial classes the tutor checks your child's level and suggests where to begin.

Complete beginners

Young children usually start with Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds, vowel marks and joining letters, until they can read words on their own.

Reading the Quran

Next comes reading from the Quran itself. Our Quran reading classes build fluency verse by verse, with the tutor correcting each word.

Reciting with Tajweed

Children who read confidently move on to the rules of Tajweed so their recitation is clear and correct.

Memorizing surahs

Many families want their children to memorize short surahs, or to work towards full Hifz. Memorization is planned with regular revision so it stays strong.

What a typical kids' class looks like

  • A short warm-up revising the last lesson
  • New letters, words or verses read aloud with the tutor
  • Gentle, immediate correction of pronunciation
  • Practice the child can repeat before the next class
  • Notes on progress shared with parents

Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on your plan. For younger children, the 30-minute Basic plan is often the easiest to sustain.

Parents' questions

What age can my child start?

There's no fixed starting age on our side. What matters is whether your child can sit and focus for a short lesson. Tell us their age in the form, and the tutor will suggest a suitable plan and lesson length during the free trial.

Are the classes one-to-one?

Yes. Each class is live, with one tutor and one learner, so the tutor can listen to every word and correct mistakes straight away.

Can my daughter have a female teacher?

Yes. Female tutors are available. Choose "Female tutor" in the form and we'll arrange it.

How do you handle US and UK time zones?

Tell us your preferred days and times in your own local time. We confirm the class time in your time zone before the trial starts.

What device does my child need?

A phone, tablet or computer with a stable internet connection, plus headphones or speakers and a microphone. A quiet room helps a lot.

How will I know my child is improving?

You'll receive monthly progress reports, and you can follow lessons through the student learning portal. You're welcome to sit in on classes.
